HK_date

This component contains a collection of methods to manipulate dates

The methods complement the built in functions of 4D to give you some nifty new features

These are the methods in this component:

• HK_date

  This method initialises the component

• DATE_agetext

  This method calculates a literal age text for the date passed, in the style of today, last month, next year, etc.

• DATE_endofmonth

  Get the date of the last day of a given month

• DATE_from_GMT

  Gets the date portion of a GMT timestring

• DATE_get_age

  Calculates the current age based on a start date

• DATE_get_calweek

  Returns the week number (EU) of a given date

• DATE_get_calweek_dates

  Returns the first day of a week number in a given year

• DATE_get_MMDD

  Returns the month and day portion of a date, useful for birthday lists

• DATE_nextannuity

  Calculates the next annuity for a date

• DATE_startofmonth

  Returns the date of the first day of month, when give any date within that month

• DATE_startofweek

  Returns the date of the last day of month, when give any date within that month

You can buy the sourcecode to the components. AC_Basics is free, but the source for all other components is 100 U$/€ via PayPal. You will receive the password to the archive contained in the component as soon as I receive the email from paypal confirming payment. Please make sure to call the payment button from the webpage of the desired component, so I know what you want to pay for. I can send an invoice by mail if you so require, EU corporate entities may provide a VAT ID in the message of their PayPal payments so I can deduct the VAT.
